I was inspired to paint in watercolours when in my teens, through visits to the Heffer Gallery in Cambridge and by my Uncle Horace (Williams)

He was an architect and accomplished watercolourist, painting mainly lake/mountain landscapes in north Wales and the Lake District.

My paintings are produced 'en plein air' and I don't paint to gain approval from other people but enjoy the relaxation, challenge and immediacy of the process and hope other people will appreciate them too.
